A UKAS certificate of calibration and a report will be issued with each
serviceable orifice plate. The certificate is produced by computerised
system at the point of calibration & incorporates a statement of conformity
against the applied standard & the report will contain full details
from the metrology checks & inspections. Where appropriate all results
will be quoted in metric units.

in "fiscal" metering systems should be certified for compliance
with the appropriate design standard prior to use.
It is also an industry led requirement that for high accuracy fluid measurements
in closed conduits the primary elements should be periodically re-certified
against the appropriate standard. In the case of "fiscal" or
custody transfer metering applications this is typically ever 12 months.

necessary to confirm compliance of a primary element, such as an orifice
plate, With the requirements of the appropriate design or operational
